Context is maintained between questions. If you wish to reset/clear the context this can be done with the command ‘Clear context’ or using the clear screen button within the webapp.
Context will be maintained in the following situations
1. The request is scant (not enough info in itself)
2. There is no time period specified
3. You have used pronouns(pro-forms) in your question
E.g.
Question 1: What is our best selling product at our most profitable store
Question 2: How much profit did we make from selling those there ?
those refers to ‘the best selling product’
there refers to ‘our most profitable store’
If you asked:
How much profit did we make from selling those ? (ie with there)
it would maintain the context of ‘the best selling product’ but not that of the store.
The default time period will be applied to all questions as no time period has been specified.
